ALL prints are giclee prints printed on archival papers and the sizes are the actual print sizes and are not inclusive of a matting and/or frame. Matted sizes will add an additional 2 inches to height and width. Frames will add an additional 2 to 4 inches in height and width depending if the photo is matted or not. You can request a framed piece not be matted. All frames are either a plain black or brown barnwood style. Pictures of the frames are at the bottom of the page. All orders include shipping. Imagination
​
When we were kids, we'd look into the sky and see animals or other objects in the clouds. As adults, we forget to do this things; we forget what it was like to be a kid and "see" all the possibilities. This image inspired me to imagine once again. What do YOU see?

Northern Lights - Bliss, Michigan
​
October 10, 2024 was another spectacular display of the northern lights in our area, and I was able to capture several stunning photographs of the lights in all of their glory. Most of the photos I took were on an iPhone that evening. I was pleasantly surprised at how well that camera worked. In the end, it seems to fit with my whole artist's statement that "it's not the equipment that makes an artist. An artist uses what they have to bring their vision and communications to the world. Sure, having good equipment helps, but, in the end, it's the eye and work of the artist that brings the image to life."

Sunset On Lake Michigan

I find myself down at the beach on Lake Michigan most of my summers when I am not running the gallery. I love the sunsets there and have thousands of photographs capturing the variety I see. Nature is such an important aspect to our survival as humans.

Mackinac Bridge
​
The Mackinac Bridge is one of the 10 longest suspension bridges in the entire world. It connects the upper peninsula of Michigan to the lower peninsula by bridging the straits of Mackinac between Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.. It is 5 miles long from end to end.

The Birches
​
Birch trees are pretty much everywhere in the area that I live. We even have one in our front yard. There is just something about them that makes them one of my favorite trees. The bark of the tree is used by many native American tribes for artwork, baskets, and a plethora of other items.

Sunset On Lake Michigan II

Another sunset on Lake Michigan in the Wilderness Park dunes area. There's really nothing quite like a sunset...or a sunrise...over the Great Lakes. The colors, the sky, the water; always different from day to day and minute to minute. What's not to love living here?
