I do like to take photographs that are a bit more abstract in nature and what better to do that than a carwash. This is my favorite one so far! I've also done a series of 10 photographs on this as well.

Taken in October of 2025. Most people will think of monochromatic as black and white, but we tend to forget that monochromatic is just a printing of one color. These prints could be ANY one color, but I chose the blue because I liked it.

This photo is one in a series of this particular image created in 4 monochome colors. It was part of a challenge I had made for myself to learn about monochome imaging and which colors worked best for an image and how they affected how I felt about the photo.

While out in the back woods 4-wheeling with the dog, I decided to look down and noticed the dew on several leaves and grass. I took several pictures. Once I opened them up, I saw how the water was magnifying the leaves and grasses and wanted to show that. I've done a whole series of 20 images on water droplets. This was the first image; the image that was the inspiration for the series.

This is a photo taken October 10, 2024 in Bliss, Michigan. It has been used for several publications and articles as well as postcards and wall art. It's one of my more popular images.

This photo was also taken October 10, 2024 when we experienced some of the most beautiful northern lights I've ever seen. This one was from my back yard.

This image shows a part of a polo match where the ball got a little too close to being out of bounds.

If I am going to take photos of people, it has to be during events. When I write articles, it has to include photos of people working or doing something. For me, action shots make for a better story telling experience and including animals/the relationships between people and animals, is something I love to do.
